In 2024, the Think Pink Europe network took a significant step forward in its mission to reduce inequalities in healthcare for women with breast cancer across Europe by establishing the Professor Riccardo Masetti Fund.

This initiative honors Professor Riccardo Masetti, one of the most respected medical professionals and tireless advocates in the fight against breast cancer. Throughout his distinguished career, Professor Masetti has made an extraordinary contribution as a physician, President of S. G. Komen Italia, and co-founder of the Think Pink Europe network.

His dedication, compassion, and decades-long commitment to improving treatment and support for women with breast cancer inspired the creation of this Fund, which unites and strengthens collective efforts under one powerful and lasting initiative.

The Professor Riccardo Masetti Fund aims to support projects that promote early diagnosis, patient education, digital innovations, and improved access to healthcare services across Europe.

By supporting this Fund, donors enable the development of initiatives that bring modern healthcare tools and information closer to all women, regardless of where they live or their economic circumstances.

One of the projects supported through this mission is the patient navigation app for women with breast cancer in Serbia, which facilitates access to verified information about diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation, aligned with Professor Masetti's vision of accessible, compassionate care for every woman.
